Description and style
Miró Casero is the most everyday, accessible vermouth in the Miró range: the direct heir to the first bulk vermouths that Pere Miró produced in Reus in the mid-20th century, now available in a family-size 1.5-litre bottle designed for regular enjoyment, a calçotada, a barbecue or a gathering with friends and family. Its production follows the house’s traditional method, blending fortified wines from Reus with a selection of natural botanicals and premium wines, macerated together to achieve a balanced harmony and that unmistakable artisanal character.
It is the vermouth that most directly connects with the popular vermouth tradition of Reus, without artifice or pretension, with the family recipe carefully kept as its only secret. In the glass, it shows a bright earthy red colour with ruby highlights, clear and luminous.
On the nose, it is intense and fresh, with distinct aromas of oregano, mint and caramel, a simple yet evocative profile that recalls the classic bar vermouth of a lifetime. On the palate, it is direct, pleasantly lingering and subtly sweet with a light bitter touch, silky and easy to drink, finishing clean and satisfying.
The ideal vermouth for any aperitif moment, made for enjoying without complications.
