Vermut Montseta Rosado

The Vermut Montseta Rosado is the most distinctive and award-winning expression in the range: a rosé vermouth inspired by a beautiful idea — the recovery of a historical tradition from the Camp de Tarragona. In times of scarcity, homes in Reus and the surrounding area would use the sugar from leftover cherries in syrup to enrich their vermouth. Building on that recovered story, Montseta has added local picota cherry maceration as the lead botanical in a blend of 32 botanicals in total — one more than the red and white versions — bringing that spirit of tradition, territory, and craft to the forefront of the product. 🍒

The result is a rosé vermouth with a clear identity and a truly singular profile: delicious, juicy, and marked by authentic cherry notes from the very first sip. It has the refreshing, easygoing appeal of the best rosé vermouths, yet with a defining ingredient that places it in a category of its own within Catalan rosé vermouth.

It was awarded the 1st Vinari Prize in the Other Styles category at the Premis Vinari dels Vermuts Catalans, the sector’s most important recognition in Catalonia, confirming both its quality and originality. Serve it very cold with a lightly crushed mint leaf; it also works beautifully with tonic for a distinctive Cherry Spritz.
