Description and style
The white expression of Yzaguirre’s most traditional vermouth from El Morell, Yzaguirre Clásico Blanco stands out for its pale yellow color, clean intensity on the nose and a fragrant profile of aromatic herbs, spices and delicate balsamic notes. These nuances create a highly distinctive and immediately recognizable aromatic structure. 🍸
On the palate, it delivers freshness, smoothness and a perfectly integrated sweetness, alongside the house’s signature touches of vanilla and cinnamon, part of the Yzaguirre style since 1884. Crafted using the traditional Italian alpine method and a closely guarded formula of nearly 80 botanicals, it is the gentlest and most aromatic wine in the range.
Ideal for those discovering vermouth for the first time, or for anyone who prefers a more floral, refined profile over a spicier red vermouth, it is best served very cold with two anchovy-stuffed olives, two or three ice cubes and an orange slice. It also works beautifully as a base for spritz and summer white cocktails. Awarded the Vinari Gran Or 2024 in the White Vermouth category, the highest distinction in the competition. 🥂
