Description and style
Miró Fusión is the most singular and unrepeatable vermouth in the range: the result of the collaboration between Miró’s long-standing vermouth tradition and the gastronomic vision of chef Paco Pérez, awarded 5 Michelin stars across Miramar in Llançà, Enoteca at Hotel Arts Barcelona and the 5 in Berlin. For one year, both teams worked side by side to craft a creation that would elevate Mediterranean flavours and reflect the shared values of the chef and the winery. 🍸
Its secret lies in a double maceration process: first with the classic Miró formula, and then with Arbequina olives from Masroig, the signature botanical chosen by Paco Pérez. According to Miró’s oenologists, Arbequina is the most complete botanical for a red vermouth, as it enhances the rest of the botanicals and enriches the overall tasting experience.
In the glass, it shows an intense mahogany hue with greenish highlights. On the nose, it reveals clear notes of Arbequina olives, Mediterranean plants such as rosemary, thyme and bay leaf, together with citrus accents.
On the palate, it is silky, mellow and full-bodied, with touches of liquorice, orange peel and a hint of star anise that add depth to its broad aromatic profile. Its Mediterranean character — saline nuances and aromatic herbs — is unmistakable.
