Cisa White Vermouth is one of the standout surprises in the Cisa range: a sweet, creamy and highly aromatic white vermouth that won the 2020 Vinari Gold Award for Best Vermouth for Mixology at the Premis Vinari dels Vermuts Catalans, the most important competition in the category in Catalonia 🥂
This recognition confirms its quality as an aperitif and its versatility for professional mixology. Like the rest of the range, Cisa Blanco is made from top Penedès wines, with a blend led by Macabeo, Xarel·lo and Parellada, combined with the family’s traditional botanical formula, preserved unchanged for more than five generations since the house was founded in El Masnou in 1880.
Its botanical profile is built around wormwood, gentian and cinnamon, but in the white version the sweet botanicals and vanilla notes take centre stage, softening the natural bitterness of the herbs and creating a very distinctive creamy texture. Visually, it shows a bright yellow colour with golden reflections. On the nose, it delivers an aromatic intensity led by cinnamon, with a sweet and floral character that makes it especially approachable.
On the palate, it is sweet and creamy, with vanilla in the foreground and herbal and toasted nuances kept in balance. It leaves a light, pleasant sensation and a clean finish that invites another sip. Serve it very cold with ice and an orange slice or peel, or use it as the base for white aperitif cocktails 🍊
